My name's Andrew Peck, and I had the honor of being a part of the documentary.
I'm currently a third-year medical student, and at this time I've been able to really kind of look into different specialties that I'm interested in.
A few that's come up to mind are physical medicine and rehabilitation, psychiatry and anesthesia.
I'm keeping an open mind.
But at this point it's really me looking into different things.
Einstein has a great opportunity to do research, so I'm actually thinking about doing a research year.
I'm kind of exploring one of those specialties more, and I think it's been a unique experience for me and I really do think, overall, it's been a great experience thus far.
It's been tough.
I've learned a lot, but I definitely feel encouraged and supported here at Einstein.
And I think for me, for the documentary, a thing that comes to mind is my exchange with Dr. Phang, a dear mentor of mine that I miss and that I look up to, even to this day.
Being able to have my actual last conversation with him being a part of the documentary really meant a lot to me.
And I feel like it meant a lot to his family, as well, to kind of see how we were connected, how we had the chance to reconnect.
And I think the documentary overall being a great body of work, I think that's the most special thing to me -- being able to have that moment basically being put somewhere where not only I can see it, other people can see it too.
So I'm looking forward to going on the rest of this journey.
I'm learning a lot at a fast rate, but it's been a pleasure being here at Einstein.
And once again I feel empowered, I feel supported, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the next chapter looks like for me.
Thanks for letting me share.
