A lot has happened overnight and early this morning and unfortunately, none of it is good news.
As you can see, the satellite imagery behind me here And we now find ourselves in a position of great peril.
In 2022, Hurricane Ian forever changed southwest Florida from its coasts to the heart of the state.
This was a g-d damndest hurricane that hit here in my time and anybody else's time that's around and knows anything about it.
We just heard constant banging I'll probably remember it for a long time me and my mom were just clustered in a closet, fearing for our lives, just not knowing if our roof was going to be torn up above our heads.
But the water came with a vengeance that came to drown everything.
the water started coming up through the floor and through the doors.
It was a disaster.
A true disaster zone.
I t looked like the color had been sucked out of the world.
Everything was brown and dead looking.
It's gut wrenching.
There was just piles of mud and debris, and nothing was where we left it.
When is this going to be over?
I feel like I'm in a dystopian movie.
